Feline veterinary experts have reached a surprising consensus: If you stop feeding a bowl, your cat will be happier and healthier.
Last month, the American Association of Cat Professionals issued a consensus statement that it’s better for your cat to find food than to eat from a bowl.
It turns out that feeding time for cats is about more than just getting calories. Cats should exhibit their normal predatory behavior, hunting, trapping, and playing with food during mealtimes.
